Carolyn attended Wharton County Junior College and Sam Houston State University. She has accounting and insurance background having worked many years for Texas Farm Bureau as an independent property claims adjuster. She & her family spent many summers in Matagorda & officially moved to Matagorda in 2007. Her husband Jimmy is a full time fishing guide, fishing the East & West Bays of Matagorda. Having watched the growth of the Bay city & Matagorda areas, she chose to become involved in the community & real estate business.
